Yerevan, Armenia – Armenia Fund is reconstructing the water-supply system in Berdzor town of Nagorno-Karabakh’s Kashatagh region. The water system built in 1960s will be rehabilitated in two stages : as a result of the 1st stage the pump station of Berdzor water system is reconstructed, the 6 wells and two powerful pumps are renovated.

The town with a population of about 2200 has serious water problem. Armenia Fund’s initiative in Berdzor will see the full reconstruction of the water supply system of the town. The second stage of the project will include the reconstruction of the 1115m long water main and construction of a nearly 27km long new internal distribution network.

Reconstruction of the water supply system will avert further loss of water and ensure round-the-clock water supply for the residents of the town.
