1st Annual Ride & Hike for Tavush 2020
Armenia Fund USA is organizing a special event benefiting reconstruction and development projects in Armenia’s Tavush region. During the summer of 2020, the civilian population and infrastructure in the borderline villages came under attack from enemy fire, causing significant damage. Thankfully, Armenia Fund was able to quickly respond and help in recovery efforts. However, we still have a lot to do.
WHAT
Cycling, Motorcycling, Hiking, and Off-roading fundraiser benefiting Armenia Fund USA
WHEN
Friday, October 30, Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1
WHO
Cyclists, Motorcyclists, Hikers and Off-Roading Enthusiasts
HOW
Cycling and Motorcycling team will start from Central California and travel south to Southern California over a course of 3 days. Hikers will start from Angeles National Forest and make their way to Pasadena, California. Outdoor enthusiasts will participate in off-roading activities.
All participants must pay a non-refundable participation fee of $150 USD to help cover lodging, meals and logistics.
WHY
The fundraising event will raise awareness and funds for Armenia’s Tavush Region and help empower and strengthen the region’s infrastructure, housing, medical, and educational resources.
