The Togh Village School was thoroughly reconstructed through the donations of students and parents of AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School of Los Angeles in 2008.  Total cost: $480,000.

Spitak Reconstruction

Armenia Fund has been working in the earthquake zone since its inception.  This segment is about “Erankyuni”, an entire residential city block constructed by Armenia Fund. 

Ambulances for Karabakh

Ambulances for Karabakh

In addition to hospitals, Armenia Fund is also providing new ambulances to Nagorno Karabakh. These are sturdy, low-maintenance, 4 wheel drive machines equipped with all necessary medical equipment. The ambulances are built on a solid truck frame. 

Hadrut Hospital

Hadrut Regional Hospital

The Hadrut Regional Hospital has been fully reconstructed in 2008 through the donations of Los Angeles based Armenia Fund donors. The cost of construction is about $830,000 dollars. Armenia Fund has also provided medical furniture, supplies and equipment valued at an additional $1,000,000 dollars.

Apaven Village

Armenia Fund is currently finishing its project to bring fresh drinking water to every household in Apaven village of Armenia’s Lori region. The cost of the project is close to $100,000. Armenia Fund has several other projects on its drawing boards for the village as this border village lacks essential infrastructure.

Spitakashen Village

Fundo Nacional Armenia, Armenia Fund’s Argentinean affiliate sponsored construction of the drinking water distribution system in the Martuni region’s Spitakashen village. The total cost of construction is $265,000 dollars. Hayastan Foundation Canada – Armenia Fund’s Toronto affiliate will be constructing a new school in the same village in 2009.
