Message from the Chairperson

Dear Supporters and Friends,

The independence of Armenia and Karabakh has been a turning point in the history of Armenians. The collective hope of the survival and development of the young republics have truly energized the Armenian Diaspora and rallied us around building our homeland. In the past fifteen years we have faced many challenges. And I am sure that there will be many more to come. However, I always believed in the resolve of our people in successfully facing these challenges.

Since the establishment of a free, independent Republic, Armenia Fund has played an instrumental role in connecting our newly independent homeland to the Diaspora. With its international presence in more than 19 countries, Armenia Fund has been responsible for delivering urgent humanitarian aid during the cold winters of 1992-1994, and ensured the survival of thousands of people.  At the same time, Armenia Fund has set long term goals by focusing on infrastructure development aimed at enhancing the socio-economic standards of Armenia. 

I would like to take this opportunity and express my appreciation for your generosity. As we will begin embarking on the ambitious poverty eradication program in one hundred and fifty nine border villages in Armenia and Artsakh, I want to reassure you that your support of Armenia Fund goes a long way. Your trust and confidence in this organization has helped elevate it to a new level - an entity that sets high standards and successfully achieves them.
