Los Angeles, CA - Friday, September 30, 2011 marked the launch of Armenia Fund's 14th International Telethon campaign. The live 12 hour program is set to air on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2011 and will raise funds for the development of drinking and irrigation water systems in Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh Republic).
Armenia Fund Opens Shushi’s Renovated Proshyan Street

Yerevan, Armenia – With a jubilant ceremony held on September 17, Armenia Fund marked the opening of the reconstructed Proshyan Street in Shushi, Artsakh. The renovation project, the latest milestone in the ongoing development of the historic city, was financed by the fund’s Montreal, Canada, affiliate.

Yerevan, Armenia – Armenia Fund has begun construction of a much-needed orphanage in Shushi, with a substantial donation from Armenian-American benefactor Hirair Hovnanian, one of the fund’s longtime and leading supporters. The project is co-financed by the government of Artsakh.
