Current School
The Spitakashen School in Martuni was built in 1935 and has never undergone any major renovation. Structural engineering assessments revealed that the school has serious deficiencies and is on the verge of collapse. Despite the hazards posed by the building, village residents extensively use the building. In fact, the first floor is used for gatherings and community functions.
